Introducing Tessa Beth Burton!!!!
We are so excited to have this new blessing in our lives! Her birth was a great one! After being one week late and not having dilated more than 1 inch, we scheduled a c-section. It went very well. I had some severe fears due to my last c-section! The doctors did a great job and all went well. I am so very thankful!
Now Tessa is almost two months old. She is doing well regardless of her having some weight issues at the beginning!

Our Blessing!
So as this pregnancy is continuing, (I am now 36 weeks) i was beginning to feel very stressed. If you know my family, you know the only vehicle that we have is a 92 Chevy silverado truck that is not overly reliable. We have a four year old boy and now we have a baby on the way and I was beginning to be really stressed on how we were going to be able to even bring the baby home from the hospital. Four people do not fit in the cab of a non-extended cab truck. Well God has seriously blessed us. We have HORRIBLE credit and when I say horrible I mean horrible, but we knew that we had to do something. So we decided to start looking for a car. We figured we would have to go to a buy here pay here type of thing, but the Lord has ways of making things work out. We had gotten lunch and while we were in the drive-thru the truck started to overheat and so the car dealership was right across the road, so we decided to just slide by and look and see what was there to see what we liked together as a couple while the truck cooled down. Well, like I said the Lord works things out. We were able to get a loan and buy a 2010 Kia Optima! We are in love and guess this.... Anthony told me that "it is my car".... I about had a hard attack. I see it as our car, but the fact is that, I feel so much better and less stressed about the baby now. I am very happy, we are now officially a married couple as we are now in debt together! Lol. All the thanks goes to Jehovah-Jirah!

Fast Five
Well, I am thinking my hubby and I need a date night. So I am planning a surprise for him. I am going to take him to one of his favorite things. Cars.... lol
He will love this. I was going to try to take him to a car show, but no one is having one near here right now. so instead I am going to take him to the dealership and let him test drive some of his favorite cars... I think he will love it. Then we are going to dinner and then come home to watch a gear head movie... Fast Five. I am hoping he will love it!

Broken Heart
You know...there are sometimes in life where your heart just breaks for someone else. Well i had one of those experiences the other day and it did not even happen to me, it happened to Anthony, who told me about it. I am one of those people who have trouble with the help the animal commercials and the feed the hungry campaigns. They just tend to break my heart so much!!! You know we really dont take the time to realize ALL of the blessings that we have everyday! We are loaded with Blessings... and we dont even acknowledge it or the one who gave it to us. All we can think about is the next upgrade in this, or i really want that. But what about the simple pleasures in life? The joys have should satisfy us? Thank him daily for all his blessings
Continuing with my story, Anthony came home the other day from taking Matt to preschool ay 7:20 am and told me this story.
He said " I took Matt inside this morning and was signing him into class when i noticed this little boy sitting at the table looking really really sad. His head was in his hands, and he just looked like a lost puppy. So i went along helping Matt put his jacket and book bag up, then i got down and gave Matt a bear bug, but while i was hugging him, this little boy was watching us the whole time. So i finally asked the little boy what was wrong and he said "im sad" so I said "why are you sad bud?". Then the little boy said, "I was watching you and was wishing that I had a daddy."............... It just hit me hard. It broke my heart, so i tried to cheer him up a little. We played for a little bit and i joked with him and finally he went off with Matt to play. But it just broke my heart.."
Of course when Anthony told me all this, it broke my heart as well. Its even hard to type. Now i dont know the situation with that little boy, but he is in my prayers i can tell you that. I am so so so so so thankful that Matt has a Daddy who loves him with all his heart, and such a good support system all around him. I am also thankful that Anthony is the type of man who would take the time after working for 12hrs on third shift to cheer up a little sad boy... Major blessing to me that I know came from God.
Hope you all take something away from this, blessings are all around us.

31 weeks
I am now officially 31 weeks along! Yay. Only 9 more to go. It feels like my pregnancy has gone by quickly so far and i hope that it does not change. So just a little bit about my day. I went to bed real late. I am having a hard time being able to go to sleep at a decent hour without Anthony here at nights. It sucks bad. But anyways.... I went to bed late and did not get up till bout 10 thirty or so (Ant took Matt to school), with a missed call on my phone. So i listened to the voicemail and it was our realtor who said she was going to show our house to an interested party today at four! I was like AHAHAHAHAHAH. Only four hours to get a house show ready!!! So i did the flight of the butterfly! I did everything: all the laundry, all floors sweep, all floors mopped, bathroom scrubbed down (tub, toilet, behind toilet), Matts room rearranged, up baby's part of the room up, did the TEN MILLION dishes (i need to be better about doing them every day), dusted everywhere.....living room, Etc. Now i am so wore out. I think i over did it with the baby, she is kicking my butt now. Well on the plus side at least the house is clean now! I plan to try to keep it that way

Mom Challenge #2
Well, only seven days till Christmas! Exciting. Well i am working on number one. I am making my own nativity out of boards and painting them with silhouettes! But this post is about challenge number two, participate in a Christmas pageant. Well, at first this was a hard challenge for us since we do not have a Christmas pageant at our church, but God worked things out. Dad (pastor) is having some special music for Christmas Sunday and he asked if i would help to get some of the kids dressed up as the manager scene. No lines, just dressed up and so far we have almost all the kids interested. There is going to be a costume making party at my house on Friday. i hope my little bitty house can hold all these people and kids. I will post pictures as soon as i get them!

Discouraged Today
Uh... ever just feel blah and that time is running out or that things cant get done fast enough. Im just discouraged today, even though i am trying not to be. I am trying to rely on God and trust in his provision. Jehovah-Jirah. But i am having a hard time. My nature is wanting to take over and let this set into my heart. Prayers are needed to today

The Mom Challenge- Mini Challenge 1.) Nativity
Mom Challenge 1.) Nativity Scene
Well. I don't even have nativity scene, which is a surprising, considering, Mom and Dad have like five or six. I guess its just as i have started my own family and our own traditions, we have not done that. I think we need to make it a priority in our house. We talk about Jesus is the reason for the season, and Matt kinda knows who Santa is, but i feel like i don't have much decor that shows that Jesus is the reason. I resolve to fix that this weekend. I might try to have one outside and inside and as the years go by i hope to be able to have more decor that sends the light of Jesus. :-) I will update with pictures soon.
